We’re looking for an engineer to join our talented server team where the winning candidate can apply system admin and engineering skills to drive the delivery of Outplay’s innovative, engaging and enjoyable games across the mobile and social gaming landscape.

The Role will require the implementation of advanced support features for our games, the delivery of a strategic approach to server management, streamlining of our existing processes and the coordination of feature developments with game client teams.

Required talent

- Knowledge and experience with server-side languages e.g. JavaScript or PHP

- Advanced knowledge of database design and development, including replication and sharding.

- Experience releasing new software and deploying updates to a live environment

- Linux administration.

- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, would be beneficial.

- Desirable to have knowledge and experience with NodeJS.

- Passionate about social and mobile gaming and technology.

- Ability to excel in a small team environment.

- Experience with Amazon AWS or similar cloud-based solutions is advantageous.
